About this Opportunity
Volunteers will be...

Volunteer activities include helping with day-of set up, directing parking, helping people find the perfect pumpkin, bake sale, helping with our apple press, assisting with our hayrides and carriage rides, help oversee the safety of our livestock.  Depending upon how many volunteers we have, we may need to reassign you.

Orientations and/or handouts for all tasks will be provided.

Set-Up:  Set-up volunteers will help conduct any day-of needs such as:  putting up canopies, placing event signs, setting up tables and chairs, tidying up grounds, and other needs.

Carriage/Hayride Assistance:  Carriage ride and Hayride assistance volunteers will greet guests at the Hayride loading area, ask to see their hayride stamp and help with loading and unloading. and also ride with the guests to ensure their safety.

Parking:   Parking volunteers will help ensure guests are parking in the proper locations and help manage parking to maximize parking spaces.

Livestock Oversight:  Livestock Oversight volunteers help make sure both our visitors and livestock remain safe during the event making sure that visitors do not go into livestock pens and do not chase chickens/turkeys in or outside the chicken house.

Bake Sale  Sell bake sale items.  (Seated opportunity and in the shade)

Pumpkin Patch:​  Help guests find and harvest their own pumpkin!

​Produce Sales:​  Help guests find and harvest produce and herbs.

Apple Press:​  Offer guests freshly pressed apple juice; help with apple press.

From the North - I-25 south to Exit 182 (Wilcox and Wolfensberger Exit).  Turn left at the light (east) and proceed over I-25 and merge right onto Wilcox Street.  Travel through downtown Castle Rock and proceed south.  From Plum Creek Parkway continue approximately 3 miles on the East Frontage Road.  You will pass Medved Autoplex, Crystal Valley Parkway, and Creekside Bible Church.

Watch for the left turn lane into Creekside Bible Church but don't turn yet.  Shortly after you pass the church, on your left there will be a round sign with a 4-H clover in the middle that says "The Lowell Ranch at Plum Creek".
From the South - I-25 north to Tomah Road.  Exit Tomah Road, turn right (east) and then immediately left (north) onto the East Frontage Road.  Travel north approximately 4.3 miles past Columbine Open Space and Bell Mountain Parkway.  The driveway is on the right-hand side approximately nine-tenths of a mile after Bell Mountain Parkway.   You will see a round sign with a 4-H clover in the middle that says "The Lowell Ranch at Plum Creek".  Turn right onto the gravel drive just before the sign.
